Kyle is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Chito-Ryu Karate. Kyle has competed in more than 50 tournaments and is a 2018 team Canada WMO bronze medalist. Kyle is a NCCP level 2 karate coach and a full time Investment Advisor with Sun Life.

Sensei Stephen Baranyi
Stephen received his black belt in 1989, under Sensei Burt Konzak at the Toronto Academy of Karate. He earned his second degree in 1992, under Shihan Roberto Cascante, before studying Wushu in England. After resuming his karate training at Zen Mixed Martial Arts in 2012, Stephen earned an NCCP level 2 karate coaching certificate in 2019 and received his third degree black belt in 2025. He is also a full time professor at the University of Ottawa.
Sensei Scott Madden
Scott has been training at Zen MMA since 2012, and received his black belt in September 2021. Scott is completing his BSc in Communications Engineering at Carleton University.
Sensei Adam Holcik
Adam received his black belt in May 2024. Adam is completing his BEng in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University.
